Good morning right speaking people.

What comes out of your mouth most days? It’s a good question. The Bible says ‘life and death are in the power of the tongue’ yet it’s amazing how careless we are with our words many times. What do we confess? What do we speak into existence? Because something bad happens that we said would happen, this doesn’t necessarily mean it had to happen. Our words are creative; that’s what the Bible says. We were created in God’s image and he created with words. We do the same. So I’ll ask it again; what comes out of your mouth most days?

Psalm 71:8 My mouth is filled with your praise, declaring your splendour all day long.

What a fantastic and very powerful verse! Do you know that you CAN do this today? Did you know that what you say is completely up to you? Did you know that your words will direct your feelings? Here’s the tough one; do you know it takes EFFORT to speak right, especially when you don’t feel like it? My friends, this is one of the most neglected truths in Christendom today; speaking right. This verse above encourages us to continually speak forth God’s praise and declare His splendour all day long. This requires our focus to be on God and no on us. Maybe this is the challenge if we’re honest. Today can we all commit to speaking out loud ‘How great is our God’ and let’s fill our atmosphere with praise.
