#80 – Say It Now

Good morning people of honour

There are some things that you and I need to say to people that for some reason we are holding off or maybe we don’t really think about it. For some it might be “I’m sorry”. For some “I’ll try harder”. For others it might be “I love you”. It might be “Well done, I really appreciate that” or “I forgive you”.

I want to encourage every one of us that today is the day we need to say it. Here’s the reason. None of us have a guarantee of a tomorrow nor do the people that our comments are for. I’m not sure there are many things worse than going to someone’s funeral wishing you had said something to them.

Are there people in your life that you really appreciate? You need to tell them today. So you’ve told them before; tell them again and be specific.

Are there people in your life that you have not forgiven? You must forgive them today. God does not want unforgiveness to destroy you any longer (and it absolutely does). Time is short so say it now.

My heart is really stirred right now about the urgency of the hour for some of you and the power of the words that need to be spoken. Do not delay. Do not disobey. Do not stay silent. Do not assume they know. Say it now.

Matthew 12:36-37 But I tell you that men will have to give account on the day of judgement for every careless word they have spoken. For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned.

Bring life and encouragement to someone today with the words that you speak.
