Good morning children of God

If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Saviour there are several things that are absolutely true and that give us our sense of destiny and purpose.

You are accepted by God. You are now a child of God. You are part of Christ’s Body; the Church. You are gifted and have the joy of using your God-given gifts for His purposes. You are blessed with every spiritual blessing in heavenly places. You are seated with Christ in heavenly places. You are loved. You are valued. You are valuable. You are forgiven. You are set free. You have a destiny.

Your greatest joy and sense of fulfilment in life will come from knowing what it means to be a child of God and by committing yourself to be all that God wants you to be. That’s it. Your sense of self worth shouldn’t come from your job, your relationships, your looks or your abilities; these will all change with time. We must know who we are in Christ, we must focus on our relationship with Him and becoming more like Him and we must identify and use our spiritual gifts for God’s glory.

I’m on this journey with you. My walk with God is going really well, I believe I am becoming more like Christ and I am using my gifts that God gave me. I am aware that I am on a journey of really knowing what it is to be accepted by God and how that really looks. I’m learning and I’m growing.

How’s your journey going? Are you accepting God’s words about you? Are you pursing an intimate walk with Him? Are you becoming more patient, kind, loving and self-controlled? Are you using your spiritual gifts for God’s glory?
