Good morning people whose God holds them

Today I want to simply share a small passage of scripture that I pray brings encouragement to you. If life is going great; may you always know the truth of these words. If life is challenging at the moment; may you find strength in God’s promise to us.

Psalm 18:16-19, 28-29 He reached down from on high and took hold of me; He drew me out of deep waters. He rescued me from my powerful enemy, from my foes, who were too strong for me. They confronted me in the day of my disaster, but the Lord was my support. He brought me out into a spacious place; He rescued me because He delighted in me…You, O Lord, keep my lamp burning; my God turns my darkness into light. With Your help I can advance against a troop, with my God I can scale a wall.

God delights in you also. His plans are to do you good and not to harm you. He wants to enlarge you and bring you into a spacious place. He wants to protect you and rescue you from the enemy who is powerful. He wants to turn your darkness into light and He wants to cause you to be victorious.

This is God’s heart for you.
