Good morning persevering runners

It’s more important how you finish life than how you start. Many have lived a self-centred and Christ-less life for many years and then fully surrendered their lives to Jesus Christ. All of heaven rejoices when people come into a real relationship with the King!

The tragedy that happens all too often is those that have been running the race and at some point gave up. There can be many reasons but I know God’s heart breaks when people give up on God and life.

Galatians 5:7 You were running a good race. Who cut in on you and kept you from obeying the truth?

I want to encourage every person today to keep on running well this year. No one can disqualify you from the race except yourself. We need to stand firm. We need to focus on God’s goodness and grace. We need to guard our hearts. We need to choose which voice we are going to listen to and adhere to. We need to run the race marked out for us with perseverance, never, never, never giving up.

Galatians 5:1 It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.
