Good morning people who are in love with the God of goodness 

Galatians 5:22-23 NIV But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

Everything that God has made and everything that God has done is good. It can’t be bad, because He is not bad. He is perfect, holy, righteous and just.

In the beginning, God created and said, “It is good!”, and when He created mankind, He said, “It is very good!”

He still says the same today with all that He is involved in!

He lives in us, and therefore, His life through us is called to be a good reflection of His goodness. It’s not about our goodness separate from Him and originating from ourselves – this kind of goodness does not exist!

True goodness only ever finds its origins in the God who is good.

Like God’s kindness that we talked about yesterday, God’s goodness is also useful to us and through us.

As I continue to mediate on this scripture that the Holy Spirit told me to write on, I get a strong sense that we need a fresh and deeper revelation that the Holy Spirit in us is meant to be useful through us. Please read that again.

I don’t want to win arguments and battles – I want to be useful for the kingdom of God, and this will involve both kindness and goodness.
