Good morning people who are in love with the God of kindness 

Galatians 5:22-23 NIV But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

This word kindness is the word gentleness in the KJV and it actually means usefulness.

Just think about this.

Whenever the Holy Spirit moves, it is useful. When He acts in our lives, it is useful. When He speaks, it is useful.

Why is this usefulness synonymous with kindness?

Because our life is not up to some random chance where we hope and do our best but we are never quite sure.

God is kind enough to make the Father’s will known to us. This is useful!

And this is the kindness that we are called to show to others.

Yes, it is about being gentle and nice, but it is also about being useful, and usefulness is only connected to truth.

We need to be kind enough to speak the truth in love; this is truly being useful, and it is what the Holy Spirit does in our lives too.
