Good morning people who follow God’s instructions

Sometimes we do what we want in life and not what God has instructed. Sometimes we think we will get further ahead doing things our way. Sometimes God’s way seems too difficult and we doubt if what He says is in our best interest. Sometimes we hear yet we do not always obey.

And what is the result?

Sometimes we might not see any short-term negative effects. But we must understand we see things in the natural and judge results in the here and now. God’s ways are different to ours.

We need to understand God gives instructions because He loves us, and He wants to protect us from consequences of wrong choices. Doing things our way will end in things smelling and going rotten.

Exodus 16:19-20 Then Moses said to them, “No one is to keep any of it until morning.” However, some of them paid no attention to Moses; they kept part of it until morning, but it was full of maggots and began to smell. So Moses was angry with them.

Do you want to avoid things turning rotten in your life? Live life God’s way; it’s always best.

Are things already a bit on the nose? Ask God to forgive you, receive it fully and embrace living life God’s way from now on.
