Good morning people who wear praise like a fine-fitting suit

Psalm 33:1 NIV Sing joyfully to the LORD, you righteous; it is fitting for the upright to praise Him.

Recently I had an encounter with God where I received a deeper revelation of the rightness and power of the words “Thank You Father!”

Thanking God, praising God, exalting God is right for the people of God.

There is an old song by Don Moen called ‘Praise looks good on you’. This is the absolute truth. Like a tailor-made suit that perfectly fits, so is praise fitting for friends of God.

In a world and in a time when complaining has become the new normal, praising God is counter-cultural, but not in heaven – it is the culture of heaven! Angels and saints worship and praise and adore God, and we are privileged and honoured and blessed to join with them here on earth!

“What are you known for – complaining about what’s happening or praising God for Who He is and what He is doing?”
