Good morning people who are looking continually in the right place

Psalm 16:8-9 (NIV) 8 I keep my eyes always on the Lord, with Him at my right hand, I will not be shaken. 9 Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will rest secure.

“What do you keep your eyes fixed on?”

Look at the wonderful blessings of keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus!

When my eyes are always on the Lord, I will not be shaken! Now this doesn’t mean we won’t have times of difficulty, but it does mean the difficulty won’t destroy us – we will not be shaken off course! PRAISE GOD!

When my eyes are always on the Lord, my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices! There is a peace that comes from God which goes beyond our understanding and results in praise because of Who God is. When my eyes are in the right place, my tongue will speak what is right.

When my eyes are always on the Lord, my body also will rest secure! This is speaking about a deep rest in our complete whole – all of who we are. Ah, that sounds delightful.

Fixing our eyes on Jesus is simply right. The result is what we so often strive for. So, don’t strive – change your focus.
