Good morning victorious people of God

Today I want to mention something that needs to be a mindset shift for some. I have at times believed that temptation was too strong to overcome and maybe you have too. Here’s what the Bible says.

1 Corinthians 10:13 No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.

It’s time for some to ask God for the way out. Don’t just do the same thing you have always done; ask God to show you the way out; remember He’s the faithful One. Here’s three things that I feel need to be components of overcoming temptation.

We need to seek information. The Bible is clear that many of God’s people perish for a lack of knowledge. We also read that the simple pass by the wayward woman and the end result is death. Maybe you need to read something about your challenge or talk to someone. Do it today.

We need strong determination. Don’t believe the lie that it should be easy to overcome. This is a battle we are in and it takes lots of effort. We must not focus on determination simply from the intense effort point of view but from the promise that we can overcome and be victorious! YOU CAN OVERCOME but you must be determined.

We must do relocation. It’s no good staying in the place of temptation saying over and over “I think I can, I think I can, I think I can
