Good morning people with right convictions
Romans 8:38-39 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Like we said yesterday, feelings are deceptive and feelings are given amazing ability to control us. I struggle with this in a big way (sorry to burst your perception of me). Maybe that’s part of what is needed in the Body of Christ; a whole bunch of incorrect perceptions broken. We see lots of villains and heroes but the reality is there are a whole bunch of people just like you and I doing the best we can; sometimes we get it right and sometimes we get it wrong.
But God loves us anyway! Today I want to challenge us on how strong our anchor in God’s Word is. This passage says “I am convinced”. This is a key to our lives. In those times of challenge and difficulty (and there will be plenty of them), are we firmly anchored to God’s Word and do we fully embrace what it says as truth? Are you fully convinced today, do you have a conviction that cannot be swayed, are you unshakeable in your acceptance in and reliance on the truth that nothing, absolutely nothing, in heaven or on earth or under the earth can separate you from God’s incredible love? That’s the question we need to settle today because that is the only thing that will truly anchor us through the storms of life.
