Good morning people who hunger and thirst

I’m sitting here worshipping God with a deep desire to know Him more. Do you hunger for God?

Sometimes we know God but do we desire to know Him more? Do we hunger and thirst after righteousness? Do we desire all that God has for us? Do we desire to fulfil all that He has given us to do? Do we desire to reflect Him and make Him known in our everyday lives? All of these desires must come from our greatest desire and that is to know Him better. Don’t be content to be saved and safe and then simply live life. Stir up that desire every day. Cry out to God and ask Him to continue to reveal Himself more and more. God responds to hungry people.

Take a moment and meditate on this passage and I pray Paul’s desire will be ours today also.

Philippians 3:7-11 But whatever was to my profit I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. What is more, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ
