#225 – Your Testimony

Good morning people with a testimony

Acts 4:20 For we cannot help speaking about what we have seen and heard.

The greatest testimony is not theology or a story that you may have heard passed on. The greatest testimony is what you have personally seen or heard.

What have you seen God do? What has He done in your life? What has He done in the life of your family and friends? Think about where your life was before a relationship with Jesus. How has your life changed since accepting Christ? How much has your character changed since you started submitting to His Lordship?

This is your testimony. You don’t have to understand all the theory and doctrine; you simply need to tell about what has happened. You don’t need to know scripture and verse; you just need to echo the words of the man who Jesus healed; “I once was blind, but now I see”. People asked him who did this, how did it happen, explain everything to us and all the blind man could say was, “I don’t know all that stuff. All I know is I once was blind, but now I see.”

People can argue theory. People can argue doctrine. People can argue facts. But people cannot argue experience. People cannot deny what has happened to you.

Don’t try to have someone else’s testimony; speak about what you have seen and heard; about what God has done for you. Your life holds life to someone else if you would only dare to tell about what you have seen and heard.
