Good morning people who love people
Acts 2:1 When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place.
God responds to unity. God responds to people who gather together and wait on Him. God loves to respond to His people when He sees unity.
We are living in a day where the enemy is attacking unity. Differing opinions separate and our faith, our beliefs, our convictions often seem to divide. This ought not to be.
The Bible is clear.
John 13:34-35 A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.
Sure there are some doctrinal differences that may necessitate a separating of ways, but this is a very rare situation. Most differing of ‘convictions’ that lead to disunity in the Body of Christ are not actually based on Biblical theology but rather strong opinions voiced by ones who are too proud to yield.
What is more important: Our opinions or unity? The Bible is very clear on this. The world will know us by our love for one another and we cannot have love and disunity at the same time.
I am being direct today and I do not make apologies. God hates disunity; the devil loves it and the world is confused and driven away by it. For some today, we need to lay down our rights because the only right we have as Christ-submitted Believers is to do what God asks us to do. Also I believe God promises to pour out blessing when people dwell together in unity. Unity attracts God’s blessing!
“God give us grace for one another and a deep love. Help us to guard unity.”
