#2088 – Walking Together

Good morning people who value walking with God’s family

I want to spend just one more day considering this following scripture:

Hebrews 10:24-25 (NIV) And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

Habits never start as habits – they are the result of one decision then another then another…

The church is God’s family and He loves it dearly. “Do we?”

Today I want to encourage us to beware of believing the lie that we are better off not going to church. Some Believers truly believe this, but it is a lie.

Meeting together with other Believers is God’s idea and it is His command. You need other Believers and other Believers need you.

The truth is, you have been hurt by people at church and you have hurt people at church. We are part of a family of Believers, and no one gets it right all the time.

But do you know what church is? It is a place to receive grace and forgiveness and to give grace and forgiveness. It’s time to receive and give God’s best to others and to make a commitment to walk forward together. Respectfully, it’s much easier to walk away, but God always desires restoration. Maybe you are the person today who can unlock other people on their journey with God. Maybe today, God wants to unlock you as you commit to walk forward with others and freely extend the grace and forgiveness that you have freely received from God. I declare, today is your day.
