Good morning people who live for God with their whole life
Yesterday I talked about the little things that we need to deal with in our lives. I feel we need to consider this again.
In Galatians 5, the apostle Paul encourages us about the incredible freedom that we have in Christ. It is awesome!!! And then he says the following:
Galatians 5:7-9 (NIV) You were running a good race. Who cut in on you to keep you from obeying the truth? That kind of persuasion does not come from the one who calls you. A little yeast works through the whole batch of dough.
Again, here we see that many who are running a good race can easily get tripped up by a little thing that ends up working through our whole life. We try to segment our lives and we honestly think that ‘this little action’ won’t affect the rest of my life. Don’t be fooled – it will.
Yet God doesn’t want that. The apostle Paul didn’t want that. I don’t want that. You don’t want that.
So it’s time to stand firm in our freedom and in our faith. It’s time to deal with the little things and to keep on running well. Here’s the truth today from God’s precious Word:
Galatians 5:1 (NIV) It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.
It’s time to put right the little things and enjoy God’s freedom for which Christ set us free.
