Good morning people with a future

In a few days it will be Christmas and we are going to celebrate and remember the birth of our wonderful Saviour and King, Jesus. I personally love Christmas and all that it means. I rejoice in our wonderful Saviour coming into our world a couple of centuries ago. Do you know that He is coming again? This time He will come in a different way and for a different reason.

The first time Jesus came, He came as a little baby. He was born in a stable and His purpose was to seek and save the lost. Aren’t you thankful for what Jesus did for us?

The next time Jesus comes, He is coming as a King riding on a majestic white horse, clothed in splendour and majesty and His purpose will be to take us home! Oh what a glorious day!

My simple question to all of us today is this; are you living with an eternal perspective? Are you living just for the here and now or are you living each day for the glory of God? Are we living today like there is always tomorrow or are we living each day as if it could be our last? I don’t want any regrets when I finally see Jesus face to face. The only way this will happen is if I live every day with an eternal perspective.

Colossians 3:23-24 Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.
