Good morning loved of God

Jonah 3:1 Then the word of the Lord came to Jonah a second time.

This verse speaks about a recommissioning from God. Despite Jonah running away from God and almost destroying a lot of people’s lives in the process, God came and spoke to him a second time; He recommissioned him!

Oh how I love our wonderful Father who doesn’t write us off but comes a second time! He comes and He says I trust you enough and love you enough to commission you again. We serve the God of the second chance! No matter what you have done, God can and wants to restore you and speak to you again.

Will you let Him? Will you listen and receive the word of the Lord a second time? He will speak and He will restore. I encourage you today to pray this prayer if this is you.

“Father, I have tried things my way and it hasn’t worked. I confess my sin and I ask you to forgive me. I receive your grace Lord and I thank You for loving me so much that you welcome me back with open arms. Now Lord I ask that you speak to me again. I want to hear your voice and I want to obey your command. I ask this in Jesus Name, amen.”
