Good morning wonderful children of God

Thanks for sharing the journey of life with me. The goal is to become more like Christ and for our relationship with Him to get better. None of us have arrived yet but I’m sure glad God doesn’t give up on us. He leads us on in love and amazing grace. Sometimes He loves us so much that He disciplines us; OUCH! But it’s all so we can learn and grow.
As we consider the phrase ‘children of God’ I think we can learn a lot from an earthly parent / child relationship. This morning I want to mention one thing a child learns from its parents. We should be learning from God and the things of God. I am convinced that we can learn something everyday but we have to have a desire to learn. Today do you want to learn from God? Today are you eager to learn from God? I have been learning lots recently by reading some great Christian books, listening to sermon pod-casts and spending time with mentors. What are you reading? What are you listening to? Who do you learn from? What are you intentionally feeding yourself with? I pray that we will open up our spiritual eyes and ears and let God show us things today that we did not know yesterday. Why not ask God to ‘teach you His ways’ today and then ensure you allow opportunities to learn.
Ephesians 1:18 I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened.
