God’ heart breaks for the lost. The whole reason Jesus came was to purchase mankind back to Himself so that once again intimacy was possible without the need for constant sacrifice. Aren’t you glad that God saved you? Aren’t you glad that someone modelled Christianity? Aren’t you glad that someone loved enough to tell you the good news? I am so glad I’ve had the privilege of meeting Jesus and walking from darkness into light. Can I therefore just enjoy this for me or is there something of God’s heart that has been deposited into my heart that stirs me to pass the good news on to others? This is something that I need to do more of. Maybe you do too.

Jesus left the 99 to look for the one lost sheep. Do we look out for those who are lost? Do we take the time to connect with them? Do we find a way to point a lost person to Christ? I will be honest with you and say that I know I have missed many opportunities. I need to be moved with compassion as Jesus was. I want to do this from a place of genuineness, not religious requirement or law. I want love to be my motivator. Will you join me? Will you take time today to pray for someone that doesn’t yet know Christ? Will you be more intentional and less afraid to share with people about what God has done for you? You don’t need the best knowledge and a degree in theology; you just need compassion and a testimony. With God’s help, we can all make a difference.
