Good morning joyful instruments of praise

Psalm 118:14 The Lord is my strength and my song; He has become my salvation.

This verse just sounded wonderful to me and I wanted to share something really simple with you. The phrase ‘The Lord is my song’ leapt out at me. A song moves our emotions. A song brings joy and a spring in our step. A song has melodies and harmonies that create something of beauty and wonder. The Lord is my song; is He yours?

What gives you the most joy in life? Is it the Lord?

What gives you a spring in your step? Is it the Lord?

What moves your emotions? Is it the Lord?

What creates melodies and harmonies in your life? Is it the Lord?

What creates beauty and wonder in your life? Is it the Lord?

It should be the Lord because In the presence of the Lord there is fullness of joy and there is life forever more. In the presence of the Lord there is a song waiting to be sung; He is our song.
