Good morning people who are seen and loved and wanted by our wonderful Father.

Ephesians 1:4-6 NIV For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love he predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will— to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves.

We are so blessed by a loving Father, through Jesus Christ, by the power of the Holy Spirit, in the eternal heavenly realms!!

We were chosen by God in Christ Jesus. Oh, what it is to be wanted, and you and I were wanted by God! This desire of God is a desire of affection. This was not God wanting to punish us, but to love us.

God did not choose us as an afterthought, nor did He choose us last in a school yard pick because everyone else had already been chosen. Not at all! God chose us before the creation of the world! Did you hear that?!

The starting point of God’s choosing us and His affection towards us was eternal before we were naturally conceived! This is not humanly possible, but God is not a human! This is not possible as far as natural timelines go, but God is eternal and He exists outside of time! We must allow the Spirit of God to lift us up to an eternal perspective on that which is our greater reality.

In love God predestined us for adoption to sonship. God was never after slaves or servants, but He has always desired relationship with sons and daughters and friends. It is so important that we take note of the words in accordance with His pleasure and will. We are a delight to our Father in heaven! He doesn’t tolerate us – He lavishly loves us!

And all of this – all of these spiritual blessings in heavenly realms – are freely given to us in the One He loves. In Christ are two of the most powerful words when put together. In Christ is our true position and identity.
