Good morning people who allow the Lord to work mightily through you for His glory.
Exodus 3:7-10 NIV The Lord said, “I have indeed seen the misery of my people in Egypt. I have heard them crying out because of their slave drivers, and I am concerned about their suffering. So I have come down to rescue them from the hand of the Egyptians and to bring them up out of that land into a good and spacious land, a land flowing with milk and honey—the home of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites. And now the cry of the Israelites has reached me, and I have seen the way the Egyptians are oppressing them. So now, go. I am sending you to Pharaoh to bring my people the Israelites out of Egypt.”
I love the equations of God!
In this scripture, the Lord said He had seen the misery of the Israelites, that He was concerned about their suffering, that He had heard them crying, that He had seen the way the Egyptians were oppressing them, and that He has come down to rescue them. The whole focus was on God.
Then He said, “So now, go, I am sending you to Pharaoh to bring my people the Israelites out of Egypt.”
Wait, what? I thought God said He was going to rescue them?
He did, and He was going to do it through Moses!
Nothing has changed – this is still how God works. God decides what He is going to do, and then He looks for someone through whom He can do it.
We must understand this important truth: It is still God who is doing the work! It might be through us, but it is by God’s mighty hand!
God wants to work through you today.
