#5783 – Lift Up Your Eyes

Good morning people who look to the One who holds the whole world in His hand.

I recently saw a picture of me like a chicken, and I was pecking at the little scraps all around me on the ground. I then looked up and saw the expansive blue sky that I instantly knew was a picture of the eternal realm.

I heard the Lord say, “Lift up your eyes!”

We are all going through things; difficult things, hurtful things, confusing things, long-standing things. And the longer the waiting goes on, the more we can find ourselves consumed by what’s on the earth.

It’s understandable and God doesn’t condemn any of us. But He does lovingly remind us today to, “Lift up your eyes!”

When we look up, we see God. Oh, how marvellous and how glorious!

I pray the following chapter from Psalms releases life into your spirit as you slowly and prayerfully meditate on this truth from God to you today.

Psalms 121:1-8 NIV I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. He will not let your foot slip— he who watches over you will not slumber; indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord watches over you— the Lord is your shade at your right hand; the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord will keep you from all harm— he will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.

My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. Thank You Father!
