#5687 – Reclaiming Elimination

Good morning people who remove what needs to be removed so that God’s best remains.

Life is not always about adding more. Sometimes, even as Christians, we keep on adding and adding and adding. Many times, this can lead to stress and burn out. There is a better way.

Hebrews 12:27 NIV The words “once more” indicate the removing of what can be shaken—that is, created things—so that what cannot be shaken may remain.

God wants to shake us free from some things that should not remain in our lives. He only ever removes things that are not best for us. His plans and His purposes are so much higher and better than we could ever imagine!

I heard the Lord say, “I want to eliminate rushing and comparison in my people.” Wow!

Frantic living is not godly living. Jesus had to save the world, and yet He had time for the one here and the one there. He stopped for little children, and He changed His schedule to visit people who needed an encounter with the love of His Father. Simply put, Jesus did not rush.

And yet for some reason, too often we live such rushed, busy and frantic lives. Why? There is a better way.

The truth on this subject is this: We have the time to do what God authors in our lives. If we don’t have time, we are doing something more than or different to what God has asked of us.

Therefore, it is imperative this year that we live ‘keeping in step with the Holy Spirit’. ‘Acknowledging Him in all of our ways’ will help us to eliminate rushing. Living free from the fear of man is essential for this to become our reality.

May we know God’s heart for us and may we live reclaiming the elimination of rushing and being frantic.
