Good morning people whose enemies will stumble and fall as we stay reliant upon God.

Psalms 27:2 NIV When the wicked advance against me to devour me, it is my enemies and my foes who will stumble and fall.

I love this!

Well, I don’t love the part about the wicked advancing against me to devour me – this part is not so good. But it is a reality and an increasing threat in the times we live in. We will have trouble and persecution and difficulties in this life. Jesus told us plainly about this, as did the apostles in their writings to the church.

But let’s get back to what King David wrote. He said that when the wicked advance against him to devour him, it is his enemies and his foes who will stumble and fall! We won’t fall – our enemies will fall! We won’t lose – our enemies will lose!

I declare the following truth boldly by the Spirit of God:

1 John 4:4 NIV You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.

‘The One who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world!’

The devil is no match for God, and nor are our enemies a match for us when we live submitted to and reliant upon the Lord God of Hosts! God is greater!

And so, let’s stay connected to Him and hidden in Christ while we remain seated in heavenly places. This is our legal right and position.
