#5586 – Call on the Lord

Good morning people who turn to the Lord in your time of distress.

Psalms 18:6 NIV In my distress I called to the Lord; I cried to my God for help. From his temple he heard my voice; my cry came before him, into his ears.

Where do you turn in your distress?

Do you believe that God hears you when you turn to Him?

I feel like the enemy has attacked many of you in the area of your confidence when it comes to God hearing your prayers and cries for help. The enemy wants us to believe that God doesn’t care, or at least, that we are not important enough for God to care about us personally.

The devil is a liar!

You were created in the image and likeness of God! You were created for intimacy with God and partnership with God! You were created to hear the voice of God and He delights to hear your voice!

The following scripture is the truth for you and me today:

Psalms 46:1 NIV God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.

Please see it today: God is an ever-present help in trouble; He is always present; He is omnipresent; He is Emmanuel – God with us.

And He hears you when you call out to Him. No prayer and no cry from a heart truly turned towards God – even in desperation – falls on deaf ears or an uncaring heart. God sees you, God knows you and God cares for you.

May you encounter the love of God today.
