Good morning people who never lay a different foundation than Jesus Christ.

Psalms 11:3 NIV “When the foundations are being destroyed, what can the righteous do?”

Our foundations matter. What we build upon matters.

1 Corinthians 3:11 NIV For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ is the only way to the Father. There is no alternative. Accepting Jesus as our Lord and Saviour is the doorway into a world of wonder and delight as we pursue relationship with the Father.

Once saved, there are some other foundations that need to be laid. These do not replace the foundation of Christ, but rather, they are built upon the foundation of Christ. These are essentials, and without them, we cannot grow into the mature body of Christ.

We need the foundation of prayer to be central in our lives.

We need the foundation of meditating on God’s Word to be central in our lives.

We need the foundation of obedience to all that God has said to be central in our lives.

We need the foundation of living with eternity in mind.

We need the foundation of making disciples in mind.
