Good morning people who do not add to or take away from God’s Word.
Deuteronomy 12:32 MEV Whatever I command you, be careful to do it. You shall not add to it or take away from it.
Father has called me to be a pure prophet. He has called me to be a prophet ‘without mixture’. This is to be in my integrity, my expression and my motivation. I don’t get this perfect, but it is my pursuit.
And Moses called the Children of Israel to be careful to do everything the Lord commanded them, and to do so without adding to it or taking away from it.
Are there things in your life that you ‘mostly’ do what God has said?
Father is highlighting to me that the recent stepping away from truth by some Christians is because they have added to or taken away from what God has declared. This is the weightiness of this reality.
Full obedience is the only obedience that pleases God. This is called integrity of purity.
Moses put it this way earlier in the Book of Deuteronomy:
Deuteronomy 5:32 NKJV Therefore you shall be careful to do as the Lord your God has commanded you; you shall not turn aside to the right hand or to the left.
And then he makes clear the glorious promise that we all desire:
Deuteronomy 5:33 NKJV You shall walk in all the ways which the Lord your God has commanded you, that you may live and that it may be well with you, and that you may prolong your days in the land which you shall possess.”
May there be no mixture in our lives.
