Good morning people who walk with a generational God of love and promise.

As heirs of the promises of God, scripture tells us to bless our own children by faith in regard to their future. For some of us today, this is the word from God that we need to hear and act upon.

Whether your children are walking closely with God or whether they are far from Him, may the following verse of truth become a source of encouragement to us and a prayer from us to our God.

Hebrews 11:20 NIV By faith Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau in regard to their future.

Sometimes it is a simple faith-filled prayer that makes a big difference.

Sometimes it is the relentless nature of our prayers and faith in God that shifts something in the spiritual realm before we see the evidence of it in the physical realm.

Here’s what King Solomon wrote about children:

Psalms 127:3 NIV Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him.

I hear the Lord say that some of us need to change our view of children.

Children are a gift from God. Children are a reward from God. And this is why there is such an intense war going on for our children!

But God! But God has a plan, a purpose and a destiny for our children; for every child!

And so we fight on our knees and declare the covenantal promises of God over our children today! We declare blessing and favour from the Lord over them! By faith we bless them in regard to their future!

Let us declare and come into agreement with the words of Joshua to the children of Israel:

Joshua 24:15 NIV “… As for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.”

Amen!
