Good morning people who look to the Father when you pray about things.
John 17:1 NIV After Jesus said this, he looked toward heaven and prayed: “Father, the hour has come. Glorify your Son, that your Son may glorify you.”
A simple statement made about how Jesus prayed: ‘He looked towards heaven and prayed, “Father”’.
I hear this little statement right now, and it’s this: Let’s pray to our Father in heaven, not just pray about our problems.
Put another way: Let’s look towards heaven, not just look at our problems.
The Answer is greater than any problem.
Our Father is greater than anything that we are praying about.
Let’s keep God in the centre of our focus, even when we are praying about very real needs.
I think that is enough today to meditate on.
‘Our Father in heaven’ – this is the right focus for our prayers.
