Good morning people who hear the Spirit of Jesus speaking to us as God’s children.

John 16:12-13 NIV “I have much more to say to you, more than you can now bear. But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.”

Jesus had much more to say to His disciples (and to us) before He left the earth. But He knew that progressive unveiling of truth was essential for our own good.

So, what did He do?

Well, He didn’t leave us in partial truth and say, ”Sorry guys, I ran out of time. I hope you can work things out by yourself.” Not at all.

Jesus promised the Holy Spirit would come and that He would guide us into all the truth.

This was the reality for the disciples of Jesus 2,000 years ago, and it is still the reality for His disciples today!

We are not worse off for Jesus not being here in the flesh! We truly aren’t!

We have the Holy Spirit! And He is not only with us, but He lives fully in us!

I see a picture of us having an internal and always fully functioning GPS living in us! The Holy Spirit is not a silent partner! He is the mouthpiece of God into our lives, moment by moment, day by day, on the big things and on the little things!

I encourage you to take a minute or two to thank Father for sending you the Holy Spirit. What a blessing we have!
