#5173 – Loving the Father

Good morning people who love the Son and who love His Father.

John 15:23 NIV “Whoever hates me hates my Father as well.”

All religions do not lead to the same God. It sounds inclusive, but it is simply wrong. It is a lie and there is no life in believing it.

Jesus claimed exclusivity while welcoming everyone. This is what we need in our world today.

Jesus made it clear that to love Him is to love His Father. To hate Him is to hate His Father. You cannot have one without the other.

One of the reasons for this is the deep immeasurable love that Jesus and the Father have for each other. Their love is perfect and it is complete.

I love my wife Sally very much. After 28 years of marriage, our love for each other is incredibly strong. I am a very blessed man!

So how would I feel if someone said they really like me but they don’t like my wife? Or take it further, that they love me but they hate my wife?

I simply would have nothing to do with that person. Why? Because to love me is to love Sal – we are one.

How much more Jesus and His Father!

When it comes to being saved, our love and acceptance of the Father and the Son are equally needed. Anything else is not real.

John 17:3 NIV “Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.”
