Good morning people who acknowledge and live according to God’s pattern.

Colossians 3:18 NIV Wives, submit yourselves to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord.

We will always get ourselves into trouble and get off course when we allow the world’s philosophies to become our philosophies.

We live in a time when the fight for equality rules everything. Now, I know that I am stepping onto thin ice here, but I must speak as I feel the Holy Spirit is guiding me. I am called to be a prophet, not to be another voice that adds to the confusion and noise.

According to God’s authored and ordained pattern – which is the only way a believer is called to live and it is the only place where blessing is found and released – wives are called to submit yourselves to your husbands…

…now, put down your stones and listen to the Word of the Lord…

…Wives are called to submit yourselves to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord.

Submit yourselves is a voluntary placing yourself under. But in what way? In a way that is fitting – pleasing, right and in line with – the Lord.

Our submission to God is always a voluntary placing ourself under Him, and it is always for our protection. It is never about control. And this is exactly how the relationship with a wife and her husband is meant to look.

A wife is to voluntarily place herself under the protection of her husband; it must be an act of her free will and it must be for her good.

The truth that we look at tomorrow will empower this.
