#4873 – Fullness = Freedom

Good morning people who desire to know God’s word in its fullness.

Colossians 1:25-26 NIV I have become its servant by the commission God gave me to present to you the word of God in its fullness— the mystery that has been kept hidden for ages and generations, but is now disclosed to the Lord’s people.

This is so rich and it is so needed in the church today!

After Paul encountered Jesus on the Road to Damascus, he lived with a sense of holy calling.

He knew that God had called him to be an apostle and a servant of Christ – he starts most of his letters acknowledging this to the churches who he wrote to.

He knew that God had called him to suffer for righteousness’ sake – something that he willingly and wholeheartedly accepted as a privilege for the one who gave him life.

In addition to this, we see in this scripture Paul’s commission from God to present the word of God to the church in its fullness. (I write this with emotion and with passion).

It’s time for the people of God, the leaders of God and the church of God to embrace and present the Word of God in its fullness!

Taking scriptures out of context and in isolation can never result in the life that God intends.

Fullness = Freedom!

But can we know the truth in its fullness?

Let’s look at this tomorrow.
