Good morning free people of God

I feel compelled to bring us back to the thought of God’s intention for us to be free. When temptation comes, don’t focus on trying to be good. When you see boundaries and rules that God has given in the Word of God, don’t think negative thoughts about rules, rules, rules and tradition. When you miss the mark, don’t focus on obeying more laws in the Bible so that God will love you more.

Galatians 5:1 It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by the yoke of slavery.

God’s original intention and focus was for us to be free, not perfect. Now God did want us to do the right thing but that was because He wanted us to be free, not the other way around. This is very important and it makes a HUGE difference to us. Remember God gave laws as a confirmation of His love, not as a condition of His love. God gave boundaries to keep free people free, not to make bad people good. This is not just playing with words, this is the truth and this perspective will help you to be free and that is the desire of every human heart. You and I are free to be free. We are free to be all that God wants us to be and that is why there are rules and boundaries; because God knows best and He knows what will help us to keep walking in freedom.

Today I thank God for loving me so much that He made it abundantly clear how I can live in freedom. THANK YOU LORD!!! Today I commit myself to walking in Christ’s freedom and not letting myself be burdened again.
