Good morning people who are unshakeable in the foundations of your faith

In a world that is increasingly trying to be politically correct, inclusive and tolerant, as followers of Jesus Christ it is essential that we firmly remain biblically correct.

Theology and doctrine can only be based in and rooted in truth. In fact, it must be truth; the truth, not “a truth.”

So, today, I feel compelled by the Holy Spirit to restate clearly and with bold confidence some foundational truths of our faith.

Jesus is the only way to the Father. You can’t get there through Buddha, Krishna, Muhammad, good works, superior intellect, rationalisation…inclusion, tolerance, fairness, being nice…or any other pathway that tries to present itself today as a viable option. There’s only one way, and that’s through Jesus!

We have all sinned, we all need a Saviour, and repentance for the forgiveness of sins is essential to enter into eternal life. Ignoring sin doesn’t save us. Calling sin “acceptable” doesn’t save us. Minimising sin as “no big deal” doesn’t save us. Redefining sin doesn’t save us. Repentance from sin and acceptance of Christ saves us!

Let’s be people who speak the truth in love. Truth and love are both needed – never in balance, but always in fulness of both.
