#4620 – Still in Faith

Good morning people who finish your natural race in confident faith

Hebrews 11:13-16 NIV All these people were still living by faith when they died. They did not receive the things promised; they only saw them and welcomed them from a distance, admitting that they were foreigners and strangers on earth. People who say such things show that they are looking for a country of their own. If they had been thinking of the country they had left, they would have had opportunity to return. Instead, they were longing for a better country—a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared a city for them.

Enoch showed us that God wants us living in faith, and leaving in faith. And only a few verses later. we see it here again so clearly. This is important to God and it should be very important to us.

Running well for a short period of time should never be our goal. Running well until the very end should be our goal.

And this running well is not contingent upon us seeing all the results we desire to see on this side of the grave. This is not what men and women of faith do.

What is the best fuel for living life with such purpose and faith-filled determination?

Let’s continue to unpack this profound scripture tomorrow.
