Good morning people who do not just live for the here and now
Hebrews 11:4 NIV By faith Abel brought God a better offering than Cain did. By faith he was commended as righteous, when God spoke well of his offerings. And by faith Abel still speaks, even though he is dead.
Faith has a voice that outlasts our natural existence.
This story of Abel was written in the canon of Scripture thousands of years after Abel lived. We are blessed, stirred and instructed by what we read about his life. This verse is part of Abel’s legacy.
Faith does not live only in the realm of our lifetime.
Once we are gone, people will still talk about us.
What will they say?
Will our story be one of faith; will people talk about our love for God and our faith-filled obedience to Him?
We will all leave a legacy.
What will ours be?
