Good morning people who reach out and touch the goodness of God

1 John 1:1 NIV That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked at and our hands have touched—this we proclaim concerning the Word of life.

You can see from a distance, but you can only touch in close proximity.

To touch something, you need to reach out. It can’t be just a thought, it requires action.

While God never leaves us nor forsakes us, He also tells us that we can draw near to Him and He will draw near to us.

Touching God is something that happens when our minds are fixed on Him and we are pursuing Him. There is a response in the heart of God to the desire of people towards Him.

Jesus never sent anyone away from Him who earnestly needed a touch from Him. He still doesn’t today.

Yes, I know and have experienced times when I couldn’t feel God, and despite my reaching out, God seemed absent. But He wasn’t.

My prayer today is that you reach out and touch God.

My prayer is that today will be a day of deep fellowship with and communion with our ever-present God.
