Good morning people who refuse to let the enemy win in your life

1 Peter 5:8-9 NIV Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings.

God is victorious and the enemy is defeated! HALLELUJAH!!!!

Yet the enemy still attacks believers, trying desperately to get our eyes off God and onto ourselves and the many problems we face. 

So, what are we to do?

We are to resist him by standing firm in the faith.

Resisting involves action and decisiveness. It is not mediocre. It is a battle stance. It is shields up. It is sword out. It is aggressive and militant.

But it is not striving to hopefully overcome and maybe God might help us! NO!!

It is from the place of victory through and in Jesus Christ! “It is finished!” actually means just that in our lives! The work has been done, and the price has been paid!

Our part is to stand in what Jesus has done, and having done all, to still be standing.
