Good morning people who build your life upon Jesus Christ 

1 Corinthians 3:11 NIV For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ.

There is no other foundation upon which we can successfully build our lives other than Jesus Christ Himself. This includes all the many “wonderful” foundations that flow from a healthy relationship with Jesus Christ. Serving God is awesome, but it’s different to God Himself. Loving people is awesome, but it’s different to loving God Himself. Using our gifts is awesome, but it’s different to knowing the Giver of the gifts.

There are no valid substitutes to God Himself being the preeminent Ruler, Authority, Lord and King of our life. He alone is worthy of praise, adoration and worship. He alone is the Maker of heaven and earth. He alone is the One who is life and who gives life.
