#4353 – Different Purposes

Good morning people who stay tuned into God’s frequency

Luke 5:3-4 NIV He got into one of the boats, the one belonging to Simon, and asked him to put out a little from shore. Then he sat down and taught the people from the boat. When he had finished speaking, he said to Simon, “Put out into deep water, and let down the nets for a catch.”

Jesus said, “Put out a little so I can teach people,” then He said, “Put out into deep waters so you can catch fish.”

Jesus gave different instructions for different purposes.

Jesus still does this in our lives today, and this is why it is essential that we recognise the voice of God and know the heart of God.

Yesterday’s instructions for “that purpose” might be different to today’s instruction for “this purpose”.

And this is also why it is important to not judge the different way other people are doing things. If it is not in violation of God’s Word, God’s different instruction to another person is just as valid as His instruction to you.

Jesus said, “Put out a little so I can teach people,” then He said, “Put out into deep waters so you can catch fish.”

Don’t box God in. Don’t box yourself in. Don’t box others in. Let God be God.
