Good morning people who do not doubt the power of God

Matthew 21:21-22 NIV Jesus replied, “Truly I tell you, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and it will be done. If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.”

Prayer: It is our privilege, honour, right and responsibility to communicate and partner with God.

This is a time when we need the Holy Spirit to ‘teach us to pray’.

There is power in prayer, but we need to see the connection between faith and prayer.

Prayer is powerful when we know Who we are talking to and listening to. It is God Almighty!

Prayer is powerful when our confidence is in God’s ability and God’s desire, not in our ability or desire.

Prayer is always for the glory of God, not the furtherance of our agenda.

Yet it’s so wonderful to know that God does not wait until we are perfect in prayer. People doubted in the Bible, yet God still met with them and responded to them.

So, today, come as you are and pray. And as you pray, ask the Holy Spirit to ‘increase your faith’; that you may take Him at His Word and truly believe that ‘with God, all things are possible!’
