Good morning people who understand God’s flow of authority

1 Samuel 2:11 NIV Then Elkanah went home to Ramah, but the boy ministered before the Lord under Eli the priest.

Many struggle today ministering before the Lord, while serving under a person.

There’s way too much pride and a spirit of entitlement which is clearly not biblical.

Even Jesus submitted Himself to His natural parents and was obedient to them.

Luke 2:51-52 NIV Then he went down to Nazareth with them and was obedient to them. But his mother treasured all these things in her heart. And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.

There is a connection between obedience to natural authority and spiritual growth. It is simply God’s way.

When we are “serving God” but we are not submitting to people, are we really serving God?
