Good morning people God is leading forward step by step

Let me ask you a question: Who is directing your steps?

Psalm 37:23-24 NKJV The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and He delights in his way. Though he fall, he will not be utterly cast down, because the Lord upholds him with His hand.

‘Not understanding’ can be an enemy to trusting God’s sovereignty. Many times things just don’t make sense. God’s ways are higher than ours; we cannot fully understand all God does.

‘Our feelings’ are also an enemy of trusting God’s sovereignty. Sometimes our feelings scream louder than God’s Word. In these times, we need to quiet ourselves and re-establish God’s Word as the greatest authority in our lives; not our feelings.

This is not always easy. I encourage you today to meditate on and anchor yourself to these two scriptures.

Hebrews 10:23 NIV Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for He who promised is faithful.

Romans 8:28,31 NIV And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose…What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?

Our God is sovereign!
