Good morning special people of God

Yesterday I ministered at a Church and I had a corporate word from the Lord for them before I preached. I feel to share that with you this morning as I believe it is for many of you also.

Family is a blessing from God yet for many when I mention mum and dad, brother and sister, son and daughter, the first word that comes to your mind is not blessing. In fact for many, family is your greatest source of hurt, frustration and pain. Firstly can I say that God sees all that has gone on and He cares for you deeply. He wants to heal your pain and bring you to a place of healing and freedom.

The Lord also showed me that you are the one that could bring a breakthrough in your family. I believe we need to start praying a blessing on our families, including those who have hurt us greatly. We need to pray for their healing, their breakthrough, their salvation because hurting people hurt people. They need the love of Christ in the same way we do. It’s easy to love the lovely but it’s much more powerful to love those who hate us and persecute us. This might be the hardest decision you have ever made but it is the most necessary. I encourage you today to focus on praying and being a blessing to your family; I believe you may be the miracle that is needed.

Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Let’s love and bless our family, while they are unworthy and see what God will do.
