Good morning people who know God and reflect Him accurately

Exodus 33:7 Now Moses used to take a tent and pitch it outside the camp some distance away, calling it the “tent of meeting.” Anyone inquiring of the Lord would go to the tent of meeting outside the camp.

This is powerful.

When people wanted to inquire of the Lord, and to discover His will, they went to the tent of meeting. This was an early form of the temple.

Now see what the Bible says about Jesus and the temple.

John 2:21 But the temple He had spoken of was His body.

Jesus was the place where people came to connect with God, to inquire of God and to discover God’s will for their lives. Jesus became the tent of meeting for the world.

Jesus returned to the Father but before He did, He passed onto us, every Christian, the right and the responsibility to become the tent of meeting for the world.

1 Corinthians 6:19 Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, Who is in you, Whom you have received from God? You are not your own.

In the same way the children of Israel came to the tent of meeting to inquire of God, the world comes to us, the children of God, to inquire about God. May we all live intentionally and worthy of such a profound calling.
