Good morning people who recognise the enemy’s plans

I love the refreshingly direct and ‘nowhere to hide’ statements of the Bible! Well, most of the time I love them (just being honest).

Here’s one that ‘says it like it is’:

Proverbs 1:17 NIV How useless to spread a net where every bird can see it!

No hunter would do this.

Stealth, camouflage, illusion, misdirection, deception – this is what a hunter will use to catch his prey.

“So why do we think the devil and his demons are any different?”  

This reminds me of the following scripture:

2 Corinthians 2:11 NKJV Lest Satan should take advantage of us; for we are not ignorant of his devices.

I’ve heard it said that the way to know if money is counterfeit is by studying the real so much, that if there is an anomaly, you instinctively spot it.

We need to know how the enemy tries to trap and ensnare people – not by studying him, but by studying God and His truth.

Often the enemy’s temptations are subtle, so be alert and walk submitted to the Holy Spirit and His leading.
